Are you inspired by Halo of Hope’s Mission? Get involved!
Look no further than our Activities Committee! The Activities Committee is our core volunteer group of 25-40 people who help at events, volunteering time and being doers and advocates for Halo of Hope.
What Type of Activities Can I Volunteer for?
There are two major events throughout the year that the Activities Committee help plan and organize. These include our Hackers -N- Halos Golf Outing and the Halo-Ween Ball. Our committee starts planning months in advance, brainstorming ideas on where and how to host our memorable events, as well as how to theme and decorate the event.
In addition to our major events, Activities Committee members also help with conducting Love Bundle Drives, making Love bundles, Gift Cards Drive, assisting at smaller events and raising awareness for the Foundation. Listed below are some ways to get involved!
- Committed Board members that can help bring funds to the Foundation
- Activities Committee members who can come to a minimum of 6 meetings a year
- Individuals willing ot use their talents to make fundraisers successful
- Individuals willing to ask for donations and funds from people
- People who want to help raise awareness and money by participating in events and bringing guests to learn about the Foundation
- People willing to promote Halo of Hope and share information on events and activities
Committee meetings are held each month, in the evening to accommodate for our volunteers’ schedules. Sub-committee meetings are scheduled in conjunction with special events and activities.
